it's july! the month that holds independence day!
while this will be mailed after that day, the theme
has been on our minds. creating the homepage for
the month, it wasn't fireworks and red, white and blue
that we wanted to theme the page with...but with
worlds and peace and reminders of our own individual
value. i was tempted to just write a quick intro about the
weather here...but changed my mind.we just sent an
order off that's heading to
afghanistan...to both a young
man and a young woman
stationed over there. decided to
intro this newsletter with them. and with everyone like them.
they matter so much.

tim's the young man who came thru and ordered a bone sigh
for his girlfriend. both are stationed in afghanistan. we thought it
was the perfect month, perfect time, to hold the people thru-out
the world
who are in the midst of tremendous struggle and pain
in our hearts. for tim, for sheila, for so many...we're holding you
close!

* anyone need a suggestion for a good summer's read?! well, then i'm
thinking you need to stop over at square peg stacks and check out karen's
reviews! i went over there the other day not even looking for a book to read
and i found two right away that i'm going to grab!!! i'm assuming no one else
is a goofy as i am, but just in case...i wanted to buy the books thru karen's
site but didn't see the link! um....well...um....i had my adblock on when i was
there! completely blocked the little book icon!! yeah, yeah, what can i say??

i went over to different light studio the other day and watched deb's slide show
of her photos. oh my. it was amazing! somewhere in the middle of it all, i saw
a flower that reminded me of someone. i thought 'if she were a flower, that'd
be her right there!' well, pretty soon, i was taking all the flowers and picking
out who each one was to me. then of course, i had to find me! here's a shot of
which flower i thought was most like me. i ended up buying it to hang and remind
myself. want to go find your flower??? head on over! why not purchase it once
